🧐 I answer some of real estate buyers' most frequently asked questions in this post.

(situations with multiple offers)

❓“Why should I offer more than the asking price?”

👉The essential factor is not the price at which the house is listed but at which similar houses on neighboring streets were sold.

❓“I will first offer the asking price, then improve my offer?"

👉There might not be a chance. If the house is listed for $750,000, but similar homes in the neighborhood were sold for over $950,000, the seller's agent will unlikely give you a chance to improve your offer.

❓“Why should I put a 5% deposit on the property's price? I only agree to $10,000. What if something goes wrong”…

👉You can offer any deposit amount, but the seller also wants to be insured if "something happens" and is unlikely to agree to a minimal deposit amount.

Also, although the real estate market has significantly "quieted down," this week in Mississauga/Erin Mills, there were 21 offers for a house.

With sincere respect,

I am always happy to explain the buying and selling process in more detail.
