⛱It is still hot outside as we are halfway through the summer months, so what better way to enjoy this
weather than to go to a beach? 🏖

Tronto and its surrounding areas have plenty of beaches to spend a hot summer’s day at, but here is a list of my favorites.

⛵️Toronto Island🚲 hosts a handful of beaches that avoid the hustle and bustle of the downtown core.

Easily accessible by ferry or by water taxi.
Even though it is located just across the harbor, the beaches on Toronto Island are isolated and offer an empty lake canvas painted with sailboats in the distance.
After spending some time at the beach, a walk in the beautiful park is highly recommended. You can also go for a nice bike ride around the island. The island is also perfect for a picnic!

⛱Cherry Beach🏖 is a relatively small beach at the city’s east end. If you can catch it when it is not too busy, it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy the breeze under the sun. Located just south of the
Lakeshore/DVP ramp, Cherry Beach views the lake and Tommy Thompson Park across the little
harbor.

🌅Port Weller Beach🤽‍♀️ is a beach that is quite far from the city as it is located in the St. Catherines area, but
if you have the time to go there, I recommend it. What makes this beach special is its spaciousness and how few people go there. It’s location and proximity to St. Catherines and the Niagara region
offer a variety of small restaurants to dine at after a nice day at the beach.

Hope you guys get outside and enjoy this warm weather while it still lasts! Its a perfect time to be with
family and friends!
