In anticipation of the hot summer!

I still haven't made it there myself, but this year, I'm determined...

Elora Gorge:

The Elora Gorge offers a relaxing tubing experience within an hour of Toronto.

The river travels just fast enough to keep things interesting without being dangerous.

Grab a large inner tube at Elora Gorge Park for the best route.

Grand River (Paris and Waterloo):

Tubing on the Grand River from access points in Paris and Waterloo is a laid-back experience.

There are fewer rocks and mini-rapids to navigate compared to the Elora Gorge.

Credit River:

While known for canoeing and kayaking, the Credit River is also a solid tubing spot.

Be cautious after heavy rainfall when water levels rise and the current speeds up.

Saugeen River:

Enjoy a lazy tubing experience on the Saugeen River.

You can float for around two hours, making it perfect for a hot afternoon.

Vermillion River:

Although a bit further north in Sudbury, the snake-like Vermillion River is worth the trip.

Standard floats take between two and three hours, with bus service from your car to the drop-off point.
