Here are key inquiries you should consider:

1. Litigation and Special Assessments: Are there any ongoing legal disputes or special assessments? Knowing about legal issues or additional fees is crucial for financial planning.

2. Management Team: What’s the management team like? Understanding their competence and responsiveness is essential for a smooth condo living experience.

3. Rules and Regulations: Familiarize yourself with the condo’s rules. These may relate to pet policies, rental restrictions, and other community guidelines.

4. Storage Space: Is there available storage space? Having adequate storage can significantly impact your comfort and organization.

6. Kitec Piping/Plumbing: Ensure that the condo doesn’t have Kitec piping/plumbing. These pipes were installed for plumbing between 1995 and 2007 but were later deemed faulty and subject to replacement. If they haven’t been replaced yet, understand when the repairs will occur and how material responsibility will be distributed.

7.Location of the Unit: Try not to purchase a unit directly across from the elevator or garbage disposal area. This will help minimize noise disturbances from the hallway.

Of course, these aren’t the only questions, but it’s good to have answers to them! Best of luck with your search! 🏢🔍
