If you are looking for a rental property, then I would recommend the Bay Corridor.

The price for a one-room apartment in this area is ≈ $2600.

This modern area of the city has convenient transportation (very close to the subway), ideal for walking, with many shops and all kinds of amenities nearby. In addition to two metro lines, there is a bus that runs here.

Liberty Village is also a good neighborhood, but public transport in this area is usually crowded, making it inconvenient to get around. Unlike the Bay Corridor, where transportation is not a problem for residents since the subway is easily accessible and quicker.

Another trendy area is St. Lawrence.

It has a good list of accommodations and is a quick walk from the financial district. There are also many beautiful historic buildings, as this is one of the older neighborhoods of the city. Buildings in the area tend to be less tall.

The price of renting a one-bedroom apartment in this area is around $2550.

Another relatively new area in Toronto is City Place.

With a new school located at the intersection of Spadina and Fort York.

All south-facing apartments are bright, and their views of the lake are not obstructed. Lots of big apartments compared to other areas in this price range. The location is convenient in every way. I would say it's a very nice area to live in!

The Annex is a part of Toronto that is known for its fashion.

This area is very unique in its own way. There is an incredible variety of cultures and income levels, as some people had the opportunity to buy houses when prices were low (perhaps 30 years ago), and other residents moved in throughout the years.

In recent times, the area has been attracting a wealthier and generally younger audience. It is the best place to stay for those who want to immerse themselves in the history of the city. It is also an area with quiet roads and green spaces close to museums, universities, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and bars. The old vibes mixing in with the new add a unique charm to this neighborhood.

Rent is ≈ $2,600 for a one-bedroom apartment in The Annex area.

For a detached house, the average price is $3 million.
